Ahhh...The elusive anime filter...Try Filters>Render>Anime using the following settings:

1) Brush Width = 4
2) Stroke Pressure = 8
3) Edge Detail = 9
4) Color Depth = 7

That should do it for you...Hope this helps...

Ahhhh.... the old classic "Use-the-cartoon-filter" leg puller.

Cracks me up every time.

"Create-world-class-art-filter."

The only way to get any result is to do it YOURSELF with the tools the photoshop programmers blessed you with. Learn the style of drawing manga/anime style and there's absolutely no way you won't be able to get the look.

Go look up how to draw in the manga/anime style on google, find a good resource, take a few days (or hours if that's how you are) to learn the basics, and then try to replicate it in PS.

Where exactly should I go on that website to help me convert a realistic image to anime? I went to the photoshop tutorials but they had nothing that seemed to help.

Conversion using thrid-party filters is out of the question, redrawing using skills you learn is what we're focusing on here.

That site is there to help you develop drawing skills which you can apply to digital art. Use the real photo as a resource and remake it in Photoshop.
