Filling text with a photo |

I have been looking around for the answer to this question all over, but have not been able to find the answer, so I thought O would see if you smart people knew the answer:D I just want a black line outlining the text, with a photo insidethe text. Thx for your help!

open up the image you want to use as the background. Click on the text tool, up on the top tool bar there is a little button you clikc that says "create a mask or selection" click that. then make your text like the regular tool. When you click on the arrow tool again the selection of your text will be there and all you have to do is copy and paste it, or delete the rest of the background. If you just want to get rid of the rest go select/inverse then edit/clear, and wala! copy paste works to

black text on a white background or white text on a black background on the layer above the photo with the blending mode set to multiply/screen depending ehich you use. Sorry if that doesn't make much sense - I'm tired. |
