Hi, I'm not sure if this should be in advanced or basic so here it is.....

I made a crystal type shape and filled it with orange. Then I used Bevel&Emboss to make it stick out. Now, I would like to Know how to make it see through and still have its color. If it makes any difference, I am on photoshop 7.0. I also tried to drop the opacity but it didn't work to make it transparent. Well, Thanx for any help.

I don't know why lowering the opacity wouldn't work... That's what I would do. You could try changing the blending mode to overlay I guess.

Ok, Dropping the Opacity just dulls the color. Overlay didn't work so I still need more suggestions. Thx for any help.

Yes, that's what I mean. It's ok. We just don't allow posting the same thing in two different sections. It clutters up the forums and results in a lot of duplicated replies and so forth.

You could try to put a more powerfull color so..when you drop down the transparency you could end up using the color you want..

If you mean a more powerful color as in a darker color then the idea won't work because my starting color is dark orange and when I drop the opacity, it goes to a grayish brown color.
