how to make icon files??

Hi All,

How do i save as a .ico file type??? also...how do i get transparency in a file that i want to be an icon???

Icons are not created in photoshop, at least not save as icon...

While you can do the design part in Photoshop you will need an a ICON EDITOR... Tranparacy is handle in the editor...

You will find a lots of editor there...

Since you plan to edit the icon in PS a simple icon editor will do, more complex editor have editing functions ...but chance are than you wont need them.
