Hello:
I would like to achieve this effect but don´t want the gradients on the squares. This is what I have done.

But I have gradients on the boxes. I would like for each box to have 1 color and the next box 1 color grandient that´ll blend in with the next and so on.

Thanks in advance for anyone who helps

sounds like a perfect job for the paint bucket tool... anyone else have any ideas?

I guess just take your time and use the eyedropper from your existing art to get the right shades of blue, then dump the colors into a new grid

Do it manually. Create a new layer on top of it, CTRL+Click the existing set of boxes, grab the paintbucket tool and start filling in each individual box. TIP: Hold down ALT while using the paintbucket tool to switch to the eyedropper tool, grab the color, and then let go of ALT to go back to the paintbucket tool. It'll make the process a lot faster.

All of you are going the hard and long way!

Try this...

1) Create your gradinet with the gradient tool
2) Now apply the Mosaic Filter (in the Pixelate colection)
3) Put you grid above on a new layer

Done... much fater than the other way...

There's nothing wrong with our methods being underweight. :(
