I am wondering how to make comic bubbles in photoshop. You know, like the thinking ones, and when someone says something. I am just getting confused trying to make them.

You can use the Pen tool and draw the outline of the bubble. Then just fill the path with white and stroke the path with whatever color y ou want as the border color.

You can use the Circular Marquee tool and fill it with the color of your choice. If you want the cloud-like look to it, just make smaller circles and move the marquee around so that the outer area looks lumpy like a cloud.

Nevermind, I have a ton of bubble things in the shapes. I can make them, but they are all black. How can I make them white, with just a black border?

Try to select the bubble by ctrl-click on the bubble layer (if the bubble is one that is.....
Then contract the selection by one (or 2) pixel and invert......voilá !!

should work...Nanne's method is the fastest for that..
If the bubble is black and on its own layer.

Just CTRL+click the layer icon in the layer - panel, to get the ants dancing round the layer. The contract the selection as nanne said, and hit CTRL+i.

It does work, try it again. ;P

...and it can't be that hard to draw them..lol.
I have these bubbles, and I suppose that's what you're getting at, right?

The way I made mine:

1. Make a new layer
2. Take the ellpictic marquee thingie, and make a bubble.
3. Grab the Lasso / penTool (if you need them to be curved), and make the "tail".
4. CTRL+Click the layer, contract the selection with say...two pixels, and invert the selection, and hit CTRL+i.

^ a working solution, and pretty obvious really. :D
