There is a Tut on how to do random lightning, but how do i do lightning on which i can direct. e.g. lightning under text. Can anyone give me any advise or locations of tut's. Thx

well seeing as all of the lightning tut's i have seen use the filter/render/ difference clouds wich is totally random i dont think that there would be a way. You might try to make a set with difference clouds and cutting it out. Sorry i cant be more of help, i just dont think that there is a way
