I'm looking to be pointed toward a tutorial or someone who can explain how to do this (hopefully I explain what I want done well enough that you all understand what I'm talking about). Anyways, here goes. I would like to know how (or be pointed toward a process) to be able to make light come out of a box... Ok, confused yet? ;p I better explain my idea. I have this nice picture of a heart-shaped box. I basically want to add an effect to make it look like there is light trying to escape from underneath the lid. Kind of glowing very brightly around the lid edges with some light escaping and heading in an upward direction, kind of like this: \___/ <--light going in an upward direction === <--concentration of light at the lid | | ----- Ok, crappy rendition of what I'm basically looking for, please forgive my horrible ascii artwork ;p So, basically looking for a tutorial that can show me how to do this or anyone who can kindly take the time to explain how to do this. Thanks in advance =) |
