I was looking for a way to get every hex-code of 1 picture. Maybe i found a solution (but I couldn't test it, lack of osX): I think it's possible to use the colorpicker within a Photoshop action. (yeah?) Now I see there came a dowloadable ScriptSupport-plugin with PS7. --> look what's there : "get foregroundcolor" command ! For the moment I'm not able to test it. So, can anyone confirm the functionality of my idea? (= selecting a pixel with the colorpicker (as PS7 action) and then use a ScriptPlugin - "get foregroundcolor" - and export the code to a text-editor.) Thanks |

I'm not sure what your shooting for. Maybe you can clarify. I mean, I just eyedrop the color I want, check the Hex code, and use that "pencil" thingy and write it down on this "paper" thingy. It's wierd. I don't have OSX either, I'm on a crappy PC - but what issues does the platform present? Another idea, hit 'Save for Web' - set it up as a .gif with all 256 colors on. - wouldn't that present every Hex color used in the photo in a swatch? Maybe I'm all sorts of confused. That tends to happen... |

I'm confused also, first off, I run on Windows....and I've never seen that command in my life. And yeah that save for web thing should work, even the JPG shows all the colours...but, there's a helluva lot in the JPG option. And ty, now i know what that weird note tool does, I never found it useful, and probably still wont |
