After step 6 it doesnt come out right. the thin wire inside doesnt become small. when i expand it to 1 the whole thing becomes small. and when he says "clear the selection Del" i just press the delete button on the keyboard right?

The whole will become small if you make the wire extrememly thin to begin with. And yes, the Del button is Delete on most keyboards. On others, it's just Del
