I smell trouble.... I think those are all 3d programs, like 3dStudio Max, Bryce, Lightwave, etc. You had better read the 'before posting' faq's. Those images throw the tables off and also anyone on dial up wont wait around for this page to load.... (just a hint) edit your post and make them links rather than throwing them up. |

thanks marble. Yeah, those are all 3d renders. Well, when you finally get some renders done play around with photoshops blending modes and you'll be a step into the right direction. Good luck! |

those are all examples of what years and years of practice can build - not just a simple tutorial! just experiment with different 3D apps and importing your results into photoshop, then experiment with everything photoshop has to offer to manipulate your 3D junk. (admit it, it looks like scrap metal in a space-age junkyard!) |

lol, np thats what i'm here for. :D another few pushes in the right direction: use motion blur on some object and set the layers to color dodge or something. Play around is the key word here. Even the guy that created that isn't likely to get the exact same result twice... |

You can see that there is a Clouds or difference clouds for a background. (Filter --> Render --> *) also look up some crystal tutorials and you can make those jaggedy triangles.., or you can make a square, use the transform tool to bring one end in to create a point, then start dupicating, turning (Transform tool again) and make a few differet sizes. Then some circles and lines with the warp tool and some layer modes for the circles and lines and wavy things. That first image doesnt look that hard at all. |
