Font text is always italicized!?!

For some strange reason, when I try to add or edit text (in this case, as the screenshot shows, Franklin Gothic Heavy)-- It always adds a 'slight' italicized format to the text.

Please see the screenshot here to see what I'm talking about:

As you can see, the 'font style' drop down menu is greyed out.

Any help on how to fix this is appreciated!

I think thats just how the font is supposed to look.

It's because that font (I also have it) is Italicised - you can't 'turn it off'.

Ah, I guess that's another 'disadvantage' to Photoshop.

For example, if I use the font on Microsoft Image Composer, the font is "normal" with no italicized style.

If you really want to, you can use the transform tool and just tilt the italic text more upright. hehe. I am not 100% sure (so correct me if I am wrong), but I think they might be trying to stay away from faux italics and bolds, which give you undesirable results in print.
