Font text is always italicized!?! |

For some strange reason, when I try to add or edit text (in this case, as the screenshot shows, Franklin Gothic Heavy)-- It always adds a 'slight' italicized format to the text. Please see the screenshot here to see what I'm talking about: http://www.synient.com/scrn.png As you can see, the 'font style' drop down menu is greyed out. Any help on how to fix this is appreciated! |

I think thats just how the font is supposed to look.

It's because that font (I also have it) is Italicised - you can't 'turn it off'.

Ah, I guess that's another 'disadvantage' to Photoshop. For example, if I use the font on Microsoft Image Composer, the font is "normal" with no italicized style. |

If you really want to, you can use the transform tool and just tilt the italic text more upright. hehe. I am not 100% sure (so correct me if I am wrong), but I think they might be trying to stay away from faux italics and bolds, which give you undesirable results in print.
