Well it all depend on the quaity you need... The frist question you should ask yourself is wath will be the distance btwen the poster an poepoles who will wach-it. The more you are away from the poster the smaller the resolution as to be... Also... you should understan than if you target a 300 dpi resolution then it will be normal to have a huge file... There is several way to work on file this huge, The fist way is to use adjustement layer. Creta a low resolution version of you file and crete adujutement layer to get the adjutement you wish, the group all these layer and drag them over you uge file... You can also seperate elements to group them as you last step... For exemple, texte with effect could be worked on is own file. |

Well 300 dpi would look really nice... but the size of the file will be huge, as the ammount of rasm you would need fo this! 200 dpi will create a lighter file size, and should still be really nice. mkae sure you have a lot of ram! You NEED it if you plan on working on Hi-REZ images. Do the trick I pointed yyou in my last post, they will save you a lot of time! Also I just posted a tut on how to make coretion over large file http://www.teamphotoshop.com/forum/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11871 |

One thing that may help a little is to keep the layers down. As soon as you start stacking mass layers with anything that size your comuter will start freezing up. Save lots of copies on each step and merge - flatten as much as you can each step.

If you got any text you might consider to do it afterwards in pagemaker or indesign..

I would use a vestor program for text. I never like pagemaker that much.... Illustrator's text when printed looks real sweet....
