You've to draw some thing out first by hand then scan it in. Once scaned in you paint your figure in using photoshop.

A bit of a silly question... Draw it. Copy the overused anime style, and draw. :p Either use the penTool, or the pencil, or brushing..whatever floats your boat. It's like asking.. "how do I make a cartoon on paper?" ..... :D |

Use the brush tool in photoshop and draw. Simple as that. If you want more control, use a digital tablet like a Wacom Intuos.

If you want total control, make paths so that you can adjust the lines/curves and then use the 'stroke path' command. This way you can change things before you commit to them and you'll have less rubbing out and undoing to do. If you have a graphics tablet, you really shouldn't be asking this question, definately not in the advanced forum. If you do have a graphics tablet, use lots of layers so you can move things about. |
