Making a Martial arts logo for my club

Hi,
i need some help, becuse my taekwondo club is needing a new logo, and i got this ide:

The club name is Salten NTN tkd club, so i thougth that if i can
make two belts (one white and one black) tied togheter making
a S, S for Salten.

But I need som help to make the belts, her is how I want it to look like: (but the belts need heavy upgrading


the backgrund shall symbolize the sun, but this is the first one that i have made, so gona fix on it more.
