Hello,

I usually distort my image with the classic skew, rotate, scale... tools but
that time I really need to deform the image along a path.
So I want to draw a path (selection) and distort the image along it.
For example, I draw somekind of recipient:
/ \
\ /
and I want the image to look like if it was put into that repicient (bottle
effect)
...

Hope you can help me!,
JM

You can't warp things inside objects in Photoshop. You can only mask them out according to the shape you use. You can fake some warping in Photoshop using the liquify or wave filters.

There may be some plug-in around that will do that in Photoshop, but as for the tools that come natively with the program, there is no such thing to do this.

Hi,

Thanks for replying. Do you know any image editing software that can distort images? I am sure there's such a software. Photoshop is meant to touch up so...

Thanks,
JM

Adobe Illustrator can do path warping (its called envelope warping in Illustrator). I just tried it and it can warp pixels within a path like you are wanting.
