Rounding areas such as rectangles...

ok u Photoshop Masters, i have a problem. I rescently started to get the hang of ps 6.0, but i need 1 more skill in my tool box. Lets say i creat a rectangle selection and then i fill it with a color, how could i round it to my likeing?

Mark's method would be one way, but I would opr for tweaking the corner radii on a Rounded Rectangle vector shape. It offers much more precise control.

If I want rounded corners i just make a rectangle selection then go to select>modify>smooth . . . but hey whatever works.
