Hiya!
I’m sitting here with 200+ images that I need to trim a little from the top and bottom. I really don’t feel like doing this one at a time so I though: “Hey, let’s make an action then use the batch function”. After been relived that I didn’t have to do every image one by one I realized that I had no clue how to make this action or how to use the batch function. Wee!
Sooooo, I need your help. How much do I need to record and how do I use the action on every one of me images, without needing to confirm saving and stuff.

Regards,
FuzzY

go to windows --> actions --> new action...

You might want to select all the files you want to do this to and open them.

Hit record and then take one of those images and do exactly what you need to do to it, all the way until you are finished.

Then hit stop.

You now have a new action that will crop the way you want. Somewhere are some settings for saving the files in a sequential manner. You might run into trouble if each image is a different size and what not. But someone might know the answer to that better than me. Then just hit play and all the images open should go throught the action at a great speed.

Yeah, but I just cant find it. Now every images replaces eachother so Im left with only one image.

How long do I need to record the action? From the beginning until I save as?

Go to
File --> Automate --> Batch....

You'll see some settings you can mess with there.

One of them is "Destination" --> Source Folder.... and then I think there you can give it a name that will increment. If I have a moment today I will see if I can mess with it and get what you need so I am not jsut trying to remember how I did it 5 months ago. hehe.
