The cool half-circles

Hi

I'm amazed by the half-circles on the team-Photoshop homepage (the ones on the top-left side). Can anyone tell me how to make them? Is there a tutorial that explains it?

This has been asked about 200 times now... There is no tutorial, and he hasn't told anyone how he did it. You can get some ideas from reading all of the tutorials on the site though. But there is not a specific one on how to do that effect.
