How do I "stitch" together images to create a panorama, presumably using layers.

you can drag layers from another picture to another, or do it the old fashioned way copy & paste

Make a new image, bigger than you want the final result. Then open all of the images you want to stitch together and drag them (using the move tool) into the larger, blank image; they will be on their own layers. Use the move tool to align them, then crop and save your final result. You may have to fade edges, adjust colours, saturation, etc, but that comes last. |

One thing, A good thing to do when making those photos (at the shoting not wiath PS) is to make the edges of the photos overlap each other (smeting like 10% on each side) This way it will be more easy to merge them! Also... Mke sure you ahve a good tripod, or if you hold it youself take more shot in case a few are nor aligned... Tke your time at the photo session... it will save you a lot of troubles in ps! Ps- if your scanner or difital camera cmae with a copy of PS Elements : There is tool who can do this for you in Elements! (Worth having it install even if you have a better copy of PS 6 or 7! |
