Been messing around with using gaussian in the channels and then applying the texture to something, but this grainy texture keeps sneaking in. http://www.geocities.com/matt_27215/Messedupbevel.gif Anyone know how to get rid of the "bumps" in the middle? I made a square, blurred it, messed with the levels a bit, then I contracted the selection to darken the center. Just in case that information might help ;). |

I did 40 to make the round shape, then I got rid of the excess. Then I used 18, 9, 6, and 3 for my blur =/.

On the beveled layer, lock the transparency then gaussian blur the layer (not the channel). This is what I do. Hope it works for you.
