Hello I am trying to change the background color of this banner: . I'd like to replace this blue by a more chrismassy color (red or furtree-like green). I've tried the Replace Color tool, but I can't manage to find the color that I am looking for by adjusting the hue, the saturation and lightness. Is it possible somehow to get the color that I want beforehand? (I am VERY NEW to photoshop-it's only the second or third time I use it! ) Thanx |

Are you looking for the adjusting the hue? In that case Ctrl + Alt + U... but as you see it changes everyhing... if you don't have it on different layers?! The only thing you can do in my opinion is that you cut out the things you don't want to change with the lasso tool/polygonal lasso tool and the copy them to differnet layers and the change the colors with Ctrl + Alt + U... hope this helps... |
