.psd file icon thumbnail pic missing

When i save a .psd file i no longer get the PS icon with the thumbnail pic. Instead, I get the windows "flag icon. I'm running win98 2nd ed and PS 7.0
I tried to get "tweak ui" to solve the problem but it's not available for win 98. Would the solution be in Start> Settings> Folder Options> File type....? If so I'd need details on what to add as a new file type. TIA for any suggestions! Jack

hold shift and right click on the file - choose Open With.... Photoshop and then tick always open with this program checkbox.

Thanks thehermit for the reply. When I Shift+Right click on the file, I don't get an "open with..." option. I get just the "open" option. Might there be a solution going to Start > Settings > Folder Options > File Types....???
