2 things First this is the the rigth section to post a question... About your proble, thers is not a sure way to do this, but here a good way... Since try to have all the imagto be the same size (this will help you making the file size in a cerain average size... (use .jpg compression)... Taget s file size a bit under 15 to be sure. But not all you image wil be under 15k... but most should. The only thing you now have ot do is to find wich file is over 15k (in window you can do this by oderin you file by the size) and make a new action for thm to lower them even further... You couls also try to make change in the script if you know php or find a better one (15 is a bit small) |

Right hold onto your hat, here goes: Press ctrl + shift + alt + s (or choose file>save for web) In the new window that pops up , just to the right of the settings box (the dropdown one) is a little graphic arrow pointing to the right. Click on it and you will see the option 'optimize to file size'. So now that you know how to do that, its a simple case of making a droplet or a batch type action for the process. Good luck. |

Hey, you can run an action on a batch of files! Make a new action, then change the image size, then save as. Stop the action, Then go file > Automate > Batch Select the action you wnat to apply on the pics, then select the directory where the pics are located. For each image, it should prompt you on what to save it as, after u save it as a low quality "whaterver", it should remember those settings and prompt you agian. From there, you could hold down the enter key and it will go through the whole set of files.
