Ok, I've downloaded some fonts and I placed them all into the Fonts folder in my Windows directory, but none of the new fonts that I have doesn't show up in the font drop down menu in my PS 7. Am I supposed to place them in the Adobe directory or what did I or what was I supposed to do?

You sure they aren't the printer font set that your printer uses? I'm don't know about windows, but see if they have the same icon as all your othe fonts first..

You have to go into the fonts directory and open the font you downloaded. Once you open it the font shows up in the font list.

Interesting. I've found that Photoshop 7 automatically updates the font list when it detects new fonts. That said, I'm running W2K, and if you're running Windows 95 or 98, it probably won't work that well. You can always try restarting PS. I know that works. |

here's what i did. Download them and put them in a folder of your choice. Then extract it and click on the new folder that comes up. Click on the font and go to Start-Control Panel-Fonts. When you click on fonts click file and click install new font. That's what i did:D

Thanks guys. I figured it out. I use XP, but I'm still used to 98SE so it was a bit different. I'm still learning how to navigate through XP, but it doesn't take me very long to find things when I need to. ;]
