Help please... color problem

I am very new to Photoshop and I have a problem already  I have Photoshop 7.0 and all my scales in the color window are in purple, how can i fix this so i get all the scales from 6.0? Thank you, Thomas

You need to ditch your current monitor profile and build a new one using the Adobe Gamma utility that comes with Photoshop. Go ahead and rebuild your Photoshop preferences while you're at it.
