How can i do this the best?! I now use the magic wand tool to select most of the selection i want to cut out. But as soon as the "rest" (background) of the pic is sorth of thje same colour then this won't work. I then go to paint and add an outline around the selection i want to use and start all over again in PS. Is there another way to take some parts in a picture and use it for another?! |

use the lasso or polygonal lasso tool to get the gist of what you want. you can then go into quick mask mode (hit q on the keyboard) and a red mask guide will be visible. you can add to this with the paint brush, use the eraser on it, use filters on it... when you get a selection you like, hit q again and you will see that the selection is there. search for quick mask tutorials if you need more specific instructions |
