Ok I have a Pic i just finished and want to chop it up to make an interface. Does photoshop(6) have a tool to chop and save the pieces? And after I get them cut up how do I go about putting them back together in a web document? Stuff I have to use: Front Page 98, Image Composer, Photoshop6. Any help would be great.

Well, its almost fathers day and I just got my present last night....and yay! its the thing I've been belly aching about for months.......PS6! (my wife is great,...pregnant....moody...lol, but great none the less. ) Anyway! It also has Image Ready 3 (cool) but I noticed there IS a slicing tool in PHotoshop. So I'm guessing you don't really have to leave Photoshop to do the slicing. It has save for web right there in Photoshop's File menu....I didn't look for an "HTML" checkbox that would save the html as well as the slices...but I just bet its there. Although I'm prolly gonna still use image ready to do it. ;) now as for slicing.... check out these tuts and rescources http://www.iboost.com/build/software/pshop/slice6/10020.htm http://www.adobe.com/web/tips/imgrnavslc/main.html http://designsbymark.com/pstips/misc_slicing.shtml This has some good basic info on a little of everything. http://graphicssoft.about.com/compute/graphicssoft/library/weekly/aa000808e.htm |
