or you could stick a layer over your pics, fill it with whatever color of your choice, and then change the layer mode to color. Snore |

Make a 2 high, 1 wide (pixels) image, one of the pixels black and the other white. Select all (ctrl+A) and go to Define Pattern. Then go to your image that you wish to interlace and select where you want to apply the pattern. Select fill (edit menu) and choose either multiply or overlay and your two pixel pattern, apply and your home and dry. Is that the best way? |

what I normally do to make scanlines is turn off all other layers so it is totally transparent, then zoom way in 1600%, make a selection either 1x1 pix, or 2x1 pix, fill it black, then make another selection around the entire thing that is either 2 pixels tall by 1 pixel wide or 4 pixels tall by 1 pix wide, and then define pattern, that way you have a black line and then transparent line.. etc. . that way you don't have to fool around with the blending modes Snore |
