Can someone explain to me how to use the stroke path option? I used the pentool to draw a path, but the stroke path option isn't available  Thanks in advance |

...I've noticed that the stroke path isn't the best way of getting a nice and smooth curved line, as it only can stroke with the pencil / brush <-- which both are kind of crappy for that job. I usually make the curve with a big area, with the curve to be 'stroken' only being one side of the shape. Then I make a selection out of the shape, and fill. Then move the selection (simply with the arrowKeys, having IE lasso active) a few pixels to one direction, and hitting DEL..thus leaving the 'stroked' line, which now is smooth with only antialiazing instead of jaggy pencil, or blurry brush. |

In the paths tab you got 3 little circles at the bottom. It's the second one you need. dunno paavo, i don't seem to have that problem, what version do you use? Actually I usually make my paths in photoshop, then port them to illustrator and stroke them there. |
