I saw an amazing render today =) at http://gdstudios.hypermart.net/art/waveform.jpg Was wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to how this was created? I have no idea where to begin with this one :rolleyes:.

Wanna see another Frax4D render? (approximately 104kb) EDIT: I looked again at the image you linked to, Garet, and I withdraw my guess about what was used to create it. I see in the image what looks to be the same distortion algorithm used in EyeCandy's "Swirl" plugin (orange-ish cross, upper right). I couldn't guess how Frax4D and Swirl might be used together to produce that...so it's probably from a 3D app. Then again, maybe it's not. |

In any case. It looks like Frax4D will be the easiest/fastest method to produce similar results in a 2D application like Photoshop.
