Masking and cutting

Ok theres these banners I want to make on my own but they never come out how I want them. The guy has posted has did banners for evryone on this ra board.THE BANNERS How does he cut so even and where do I learn hot mask all the pictures like that somne help. Thanks

A few tools can do it.

1. The polygonal lasso and carefully select the edges.
2. The pen tool and also carefully create a path around the edges.
3. Erase everything around it with the eraser tool.

And plus almost all of the sigs there aren't really pleasing to look at.

I suggest using the polygonal lasso or pen tool if you want to cut objects out of images for placement in other images.
