slicing problem |

hi guys,, i have a problem in slicing using Image Ready, i cab get the optmization done perfectly, but when i open it using FrontPage and try to edit the " empty space " -which is in the middle - in my case, i got all the images on the sides falling apart !! is it better to do it using dream weaver ! please advise, regards |

Yes and maybe no. I've not really used the automated sliding tool. I use the ol' skool slicing method by using guides and selecting one slice and saving them one by one. Then put them back in dreamweaver. The codes generated by Imageready might be too complex for frontpage's dumbness :D It really depends on the technique you use and your understanding of HTML. You might want to disable Frontpage's auto add html option or whatever they call it now. |

Frontpage sucks at handeling slices.... Irty it myself then switche to Dreamweawer. Frontpage is not the right tool for making nice slice set... The best way is to use simple lice and do the nesting table yourself... Or try using Dreamweaer or Golive |

thanks a bundle guys, i tried putting those slices " manulally " and it worked. Delisk:: does nesting table manulally in dreamweaver differ from Frontpage ! how !! warmest regards guys,, |

Dreamweaver is REALLY good at handling nested tables. I use it mostly just to do that. I've gone far about 4-5 nestings so far.
