Okay, i've got a school project to do right, and i found a really cool background on a magazine, and i was hoping to use it as a background. HOWEVER. There's writing on the paper. Now my question is: How do i erase the writing WITHOUT erasing the background?? Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED. |

er...an example image would help alot. I'm guessing you just need to use the stampTool a bit. |

what's stampTool? what's that? i'm a total beginner uhh, i don't have a scanner right now, so ill just give u an example. get a magazine or something, and look for an ad. for example, it says "levis" over a complicated background, a background that almost looks like grains of wood. I want to take the "levis" out, but i want to keep the "grains of wood" intact. because if i take it out, the grains of wood will look broken up. Y'know? Please reply again! |

How is it you have a school project in which you are required to use Photoshop...yet you haven't been taught the first thing about how to use the tools? What kind of bizarro-universe school district do you attend? And how much do the instructors pay for the priveledge of teaching there? Sit upright, crawl, walk, run, fly...that's how it's supposed to work. |
