I drew a shape, but it's not very smooth, kind of jagged. Just wondering if there are any ways to make it look smoother. An example: Thanks in advance |

Let's see. Some time back I do remember someone asking something similar about smoothing curves and I do believe the answer was this. (Now don't quote me on this) Gaussian Blur the edges then use play around with the curves to crisp it up. |

I do believe that they wanted to make a curve like on the one at Phong but they couldn't smooth it out so I'm pretty sure that's what they were told to do. I searched for it for the life of me I can't seem to find it when I did the search. Oh well I hope some one else could find it for ya. Or tell ya if what I said would work. Sorry I can't give ya any real solid answers. New to this myself. Just passing on what I've learned from the great folks here. |

The technique above will smooth out your curve but also make the end blunt! - basically gaussian blur quite heavily and then Levels adjust until the shape is restored - Far and away the best way to achieve a shape like this - the only way really is to use the dreaded PEN tool! you can achieve perfectly smooth edges and a perfect point at the end this way. |
