Make your electricity in waves: Like this: /\/\/\/\/\/\/\ Then put your pipe in a layer underneath the waves. Then cut out every other wave where it lines up with the pipe so that the pipe shows through. Then where it looks like the electricity will be in the front, just airbrush a lighter color on, and where the electricity looks like it should be behind the pipe, just airbrush on a darker color. If you need clarification (you shouldn't, pretty simple), just reply back. I can clear up what I'm talking about by making a few simple pictures if you wish. |

Its been such a long time since I did this one I almost forgotten how I did it! I just used the old lightning technique - you know with difference clouds. Then I think I used advanced blending to clip out the black in the layer. I took elements from this layer and transformed them. Masked off some of the bits of lightning - to fade them in slightly. looks like I created a slight glow arond the lighnning - and a yellow reflection on the pipe If I was to do it again think I'd try to make the bolts of light curve around the pipe more - that would look cooler. |
