I want to create a horror picture. Would someone be able to tell me how i go about putting knife cuts with stitches and any other grusome images onto a normal picture eithier through drawing it freehand or importing said cuts from other images. any ideas would be appriciated or better still a step by step tutorial.Thanks

a simple and fast way to do it is just to gather a collection of images of cuts, stitches etc... and blend them into the image you want to mess up. This can be achived by using different blend modes, clone stamp brush, and the healing brush, try to get the lighting and colours of each image close to together so it blends in nicely and looks as realistic as you can get it. with the technique 'duo flip' said, you can get a variety of effects.. you can basically put any type or intentation or emboss onto any figure. ill make something really fast to show you the power of it..
