I'm sure this question would have been asked before but i couldnt find it anywhere here, so: Upgraded to PS7 and found that when doing batch resizes of jpegs the jpeg option save window pops up after every jpeg is resized. The list of actions includes only the resize of the image. Is there a setting that I do not know about?!?!? Thanks for your help, Tikasha |

I believe you can do it by File>Automate>Batch... Select the action and the folder where the files are in. That shouldn't pop-up the save windows normally.

yeah im trying to do it through file>automate>batch I've had no problems doing it with PS5 but then upgraded to PS7 and it doesnt work in the same manner. I have created an action called 'Resize800' in the default action set. This action has only 1 element: an image resize to 800 x 600. When the action is run through file>automate>batch>Resize800 all the images in the desired folder are opened, resized and then when it goes to save the "Jpeg option" window pops up asking for desired compression etc. Obviously this is no longer really batch processing as each image must be saved after it is resized. Using PS5 the 'Jpeg Options" window would not pop up and all the files would be resized and saved in one batch. I know other people have had this problems but noone seems to know how to fix. It would be a shame to go back to PS5 and lose the additional functionality of PS7. Thanks,, Tikasha |
