Annoying 'thing' in my images

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the little graphic in the upper left hand corner of all my images? It showed up after I was playing around with some of the settings, but I don't know what I did exactly to make it appear, and I can't make it disappear. :mad: What is is and how do I make it go away? :confused: It is visible only while the image is open in PhotoShop, so I did a screen capture to show it to you. BTW, I have PhotoShop 6.

that's slices....i think
ctrl + h
or ctrl + shift + h

i don't remember...i hardly use it...but that should hide your slices

They Are Slices.. and are referred to in the "View" menu as Show extras.
