I am playing with this picture and want to put a person's picture into the display part. But, I don't know how to get someone in there while maintaining the glare of the TV. I downloaded that picture just to see if I could figure it out, but I haven't been able to yet :( Any help is appreciated |

Take the pic and transform it, using perspective to get the shape. Then change the blending mode to screen or something. Then make some grungy scanlines.

Try to isolate the screen of the tv, and copy it into a new layer, then delete the original screen. (use the quick-mask tool) Then insert the image or photo you want to use, and go to edit > transform > perspective, and diminish the right part of the photo. Then put the layer with the copy of the screen on top and turn down the opacity. |

There is yet one more method to blend the image into the TV while maintaining some of the television's glare. On the layer you want to blend into it, double click that layer on the layers palette. The blending dialogue box will pop up. Look down and you will see two sliders with the words "blend if" above them. While holding down your alt (or apple key if you have a mac) grab one half of a triangle on the sliders and move them around. With some experimenting to see which slider will do the most effect, you can get some nice smooth transitions and blends from one layer to the next. |
