Hello, i'm kinda new to the whole Photoshop scene. Plz help me with this. I have 2 pictures wich i want to put in one new picture. I want them to fade into eachother. So left is one picture and right is the other. I want a fadeline in the middle, but not vertically, but diagonally. Plz help me?! Thnx in advance. |

Well, a not to bad idea would be to use layermasks...A tutorial found here: Tjohooo take them pics in different layers, create a layermask on the top one, in that layermask experiment with the gradient tool, foreground to transparent. You should be able to obtain a fade effect pretty soon that way. Now we'll just have to wait for Paavo to post his other version of how to do this.:D |

white conceals, black reveals. There are some good tutorials on this subject on this site: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/techniques/layermask/layermask.php |

Don't use foreground to transparent for the gradient. Thats what you're doing wrong. You will want to use white to black (or black to white) as the gradient fill. |
