Hi. How can saving files in different Sizes and/or different Resolutions be automated? I think of an action, but I definitely don't know how or if this is possible. Thx for your help. lampuki |

Pretty simple make an action... than run the batch command to run multiple file... make multiple file type with the same action if you want If you saved a file while making an action this action will save any file who get the action run... Saving become part of the action as any other command... --File type (extension) will the the one you specified in the action (not the original file type) --File keeps the original name before the extension (name became name.something) --File will be save in the folder you specified while making the action, not the folder you specified in the batch option window. Also it is important to understand than the file destination in the batch command is not related to the file save in the action... I actually select None for the destination (the action do the saving then close the file. Also remember the even if you specified a folder for the destination it will save your file there (only copy the original file there) it is the location you chosen while making the action who matter so if you need to save them in a different folder later you will need to create a new action. I did this at work when I converted all my images used for the catalog to create the image for the online store (like 600 images in one shot). Hope this help you… |
