Hello all, I am new. I just started taking an Advertising Design class at my high school and we are working with photoshop for three hours a day...so I will be spending a lot of time here I am sure. =) Anyway, I am starting a Film Club at my school and wanted to doctor some famous movie posters to use as advertisements. Thus I ran into my first problem: Can anyone (or instruct as how to) change the word 'Fight' in the soap dish to 'Film' (so it reads FILM CLUB). I know there is no tool to do this =), and I don't really have the touch-up skill. Thanks in advance. |

just zoom in and use the colour picker and edit it out very carefuly and then try and do the effect it does to put the word 'Film' in show us it when its finished (Fight Club is a wicked film) |

It sounds easy but I don't really know how to do that, could you be more specific? I wouldn't even know what effect to use - Contour? I was thinking of just copying the 'L' and then making an 'M' somehow.

I figured it would be, that's why I made this thread. Can you help? Oh yeah also I tightened 'Film Club' because it was too spaced out. Also, the reason the pictures look so bad is because my Digital Still Camera was broken at the time so I had to rely on using a Digital Camcorder, and I don't have good software for capturing still frames. |

Hi there, not sure if this is exactly what you were looking for but I used the clone stamp tool to take out the areas I didn't require first then built the image from there using parts of other letters Hope it helps Cheers D..... |

The 'L' looks great! I like my 'M' better though. Do you still have that in .psd format? If you could send it to me for me to continue the work I would appreciate it. AIM - jonpart |
