Upgraded to PS7...

...and got problems at once. I might be a dumbbehind, but I just can't figure this out. When using the pen tool in PS 6, you just make those dots wich later on can adjust and then turn into a selection. When you do that in PS 7, the selection gets filled with blue and (why ?) becomes...eh, not the same as in PS 6. What am I missing ? I get that it makes some kind of vectormask of it, but I just wan' it to become an ordinary selection. OK, I could use the lasso tool, but now I'm stuck with this in my head and wanna find out wtf...

Aye...You look toward the top right around where the "Brushes" would be and it should be selected "Shape Layers" change that to "Paths". The same sort of thing goes for the Airbrush tool aswell!
