 Ok...i always thought I new alot about computers untill I got Photoshop 7 and DreamWeaver 4. I have to develop a webpage for my couin's business and i dont even know where to begin. I know it wont be perfect the first time i do it. I was hoping to practice some with the programs before I work on his. Any suggestions on some bask stuff? Also I am want to put a "picture slide show" on the webpage, showing pictures one page after the other of the work he does automatically. Will Windows XP Movie Maker be fine for that or do I need to use something like Microsoft Presentation? Thanks, KungfuOutlaw |

It's not as easy as word would be. Not only would you need to get used to working in Photoshop, you need some sort of talent or experience to make something look good. The machine is only as good as the human behind it. My advice to you is to ditch the job until you get used to working in both programs and then tackle a job. Not do the job then learn. If you want to learn the basics, take a look in the TeamPhotoshop tutorials where the tools and basic techniques are explained. I suggest you go through most, if not all, the stuff that's in there before developing your own techniques, so it's easier for you in the long run. After you get the hang of it, try some tutorials on the sites listed at the Resource section of the forum. For Dreamweaver, however, I wouldn't know where to start because that's not my forté. I work with just HTML and not some GUI thing. But, that's just me. :P If anything, ask a question on the forums under the New to Photoshop Help section and someone would help you. |

Just play around with it all you can. With my HTML editor I just made fake websites, seeing what looked good with what, etc. and read tutorials on the web and I soon enough for the hang of it. Good Luck!
