photo change to black and white only.

how do you change a color photo to just black and white only.

?

Thanks if anyone could provide any links on that.

Can't seems to get it after playing with levels and curves.

I have just looked at the picture you provided and the funny thing is it actually tells you the answer - look closely on the blue bar and it says threshold - lol:D

then there's also, ctrl+alt+shift+U and that makes a colored photo black and white as well.

That'd make it grayscale, not duo-tone as this person has misstated. :D

Well, heres an easy way to get what was in that picture. You flip the picture to grey scale...then you go to Brightness and Contrast. That works really good, I've gotten pictures to look exactly how that one in your example looks using that method.

A black and white photo usually means a photo in grayscale. Well, at least in photography. :p
