good job! it has potential but i just have a few suggestions (i only give 'em becuase it helps me when i get 'em)

the red border around the picture seems a little out of place. even though you have the red text at the bottom it just doesn't seem to fit. also... i think it would look a little better if you had some kind of border around the entire blog and mabye even the text blog itself. last thing is that i am a huge fan of blogs. whenever i find a new one i like to take a look at what the person has written in the past so i can kind of get caught up with what they are talking about. for that you need an archive page. it would help people to be able to refer back to your past writings.
