Work in progress - website layout

I'm currently working on a new layout for my personal site, but at the moment I'm not really sure if the design is quite right .. Anyway, I'm currently coding the modules for the site, and in the meantime, I figured Team Photoshop would be a great place to get some creative input before I finalize the project

i like it sleek and clean
i think the skier's head is a bit big but other than that i like it,

and yep welcome

I like the old one better. This one has too much expansive space, if you know what I mean.

anyway, have to agree with trhaynes. 1st is better.
This one is ncie and sleek and all, just, 1st one is better for a website methinks.
Plus, the whole tentacle thing at the left has been overdone to a slight crisp. It's also kinda boring.

in ecah of the windows (weblog recycle bin etc) the font you used to head each of them is too big.

supahsekzy - he's my fiancé ;) so I've kinda seen that layout a couple of times..

supahsekzy: I totally agree on the tentacles part, and they're part of the reason I wanted comments on the design (since I've grown to dislike them as well) .. anyway, I'm currently experimenting with other effects to replace them ;)

I think it looks alright... I really think its a good start though, just with a little work I think it could be great. The tenticle idea like supahsekzy said it is rather overdone and I was never really a big fan of them :P

But I think it has lots of potentional
