I think you know more about coding than you do design. Your site is has cool special effects but it lacks the right color combinations and graphics of many other "normal" sites do. I think you should reexamine your theme. |

hey i'd agree to an extent, as the band it's for is a punk rock band (should be grundgy) and i did (as ppl said) a techno layout! (DOH!) i might make them another website, i only did it for content on my portfollio (i dint get paid) and if i do another website it can go along side that one on portfollio...yeah...i like that... ok i might.. be a huge job tho :'( thanks |

I think your layout is cool and animation is cool and load times etc are pretty quick, but i think some of your graphics are way too bevelled which makes the site look less proffessional as well as the "T" graphic in the centre has Huge jaggies. which program did you make these in? it couldnt have been flash as flash uses vectors.... |

lol i knew that "T" would come up :p i did all of it in PS5 (5 latest at time) and *sigh..* copy and pasted into flash, (surprisingly i dint know you could inport). i then cut all the white out wiv the flash's eraser LOL! being as the pic im replacing is on the band bit. i might replace the T thanks for bringing that back to my attention. |

I try to make as many of the graphics you can in flash if your using a flash website for a couple of reasons: a)you hardly ever get jaggies cause they are vector graphics. b) vectors are usually heaps smaller file size You could create something to look just as good if not better than that "T" in flash. |

hmmm...it's alright, just didn't catch on with me though. I dunno about going about the entire site with flash...for one, you said you're going for a grungy look...but for punk that's not really necessary. in addition, there's not too much of a grungy feel about the site as it is. I just plain don't know if you can achieve that easily with something like flash . check out these sites, all from some awesome punk bands. http://www.millencolin.com/ http://www.nofxofficialwebsite.com/ http://www.arcthefinger.com/sidestep/ http://www.xxx-guttermouth-xxx.com/ |

?Yeah , site doesnt fit the topic. The splash page is t3h ooglah oh and btw, your flash is quite nice, just make it more pleasant to the eye! and maybe use some easing when you have animations of things zipping out of the stage onto it :D |
