I took the advice from some of you..

..and gave my website a bit of a once over. I went from the dark black and greys to whites and light greys. I also moved the shoutbox around and added the spotlight section. Let me know what you think.

I think it looks pretty good, but for some reason I dont really like that font... not really sure why, but I just dont really like it. Other then that though I think it looks good... I really like the header image.

I agree, i still think that font looks bad.

I'm teling you, using a more ... "standard" font would really give it a "professionaler" look and would really make that design nice.

(I see it's some kindof gear lever, but it's not clear enough)..
and what does it represent?
I think that you should either go abstract all the way, or show what it is..and it being relevant to the site's theme.

And the "grafeek" text in the header...I don't like the way it "echoes" onto the right.. looks a bit cheap IMO.

Slogans like "designing the future" are so overdone!
I know it's hard to come up with something fresh, but... :D

Also texts like "version 4.2312" ...nobody really needs to know that, do they? Unless you have a link to previous versions or something..try and make everything count for something.

Otherwise, the content seems well layed out and all.

when it was loading it has sort of "pipes" where the main window bit goes, looked sh*te but then realised u dont even use it anywhere?..

also the links to other graphics sites at the bottom shud open in a new window otherwise ppl get carried away with someelses site and forget to hit "Back" to yours. just an idea.

so, since the font seems to be disliked to some degree by almost all, anyone have recomendations for a new font type they think would work well?
